Chocolate Chip Cheeseball
CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESEBALL Ingredients 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans Graham crackers Directions In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars; beat just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Place cream cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Just before serving, roll cheese ball in pecans. Serve with graham crackers. (I use the cinnamon graham crackers) Yield: 1 cheese ball (about 2 cups).

ReplyDeleteNever thought about putting chocolate in my cheese ball but it sounds like it would be delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteWell that is different. Never heard of a "sweet" cheeseball, but it sounds good! My 3 year old is sitting in my lap and she saw the pic and said "Are we going to their house?" LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! And tell her that I would make it for her if she ever came to visit, I would surely make her one.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read the name of the recipe, I was very skeptical, but I think it could work. Using cream cheese as the cheese base, the sugar, graham crackers, and vanilla, it almost sounds like a deconstructed cheesecake.
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty good! I'll be saving this for later!
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious and different;worth trying, thanks!
